1. The hydrophobic effect of plating:
The hydrophobic effect of plating is divided into three types: water splashing, water skiing and hydrophilic.
Water-removing type: After spraying water, a large water droplet is formed to quickly fall off, and the visual sense is particularly good.
Water-skiing type: After spraying water, a large area of water will quickly fall off, and the visual feeling is good.
Hydrophilic type: After spraying the water, the large area slowly collects water and slides down, which makes the visual sense worse.

Contact angle: refers to the angle θ between the tangential line of the gas-liquid interface made at the intersection of gas, liquid and solid three-phase through the liquid and solid-liquid boundary. The measurement of the contact angle can be used to calculate the surface tension, or a measure of the degree of wetting of the liquid.
At present, most customers use the contact angle to judge the hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity in order to confirm the treatment effect or cleaning effect of the surface of the object.
If the contact angle is less than 90 degrees, the solid surface is hydrophilic, that is, the liquid is relatively easy to wet the solid, and the smaller the angle, the better the wettability;
If the contact angle is greater than 90 degrees, the solid surface is hydrophobic, that is, the liquid does not easily wet the solid, and is easy to move on the surface. Generally, the contact angle is above 110 degrees, which is a perfect water bead effect, and the hydrophobicity is very good.
